The Beginning
To The South is the product of Schalk Erasmus’s passion for building things with his hands. After years of making things for his family, friends and demanding girlfriend, he decided to make it official. Working out of the tranquil environment of his family’s farm in Pretoria Boskop, he is lovingly growing his business from the ground up.

To The South is a local small business that manufactures products to suit people who appreciate quality, getting together, sharing and enjoying life. Working with the beauty of the natural, a sense of simplicity and an element of uniqueness we strive to get even the small things right.
What We Do
We love what we do and we always strive to do everything to the highest standards. We believe in delivering quality products at reasonable prices, without compromising on quality or craftsmanship. We specialise in custom designs and orders. Got a request? Don’t be afraid to give us a shout.
We also have our own growing product range of lovingly built furniture such as tables, chairs, shelves and household objects. Our other services range from the installation of decking to the hanging of your art.
